Critique Guidelines for 2008

The NorthWest Ohio Writers' Conference will offer manuscript critiquing for those who would like to have their work looked over by a professional. Manuscripts must by submitted by Friday, September 26, 2008. They will then be mailed to an editor who will have the opportunity to assess them before meeting with the author in person at the conference. On the day of the conference you will have approximately 15 minutes to meet with an editor and discuss your work. Charge for this individual critiquing is $30.00; payment must accompany your manuscript. You will be notified of your appointment time on the day of the conference. Manuscript critiquing is open only to those who attend the full day conference since attempting to allocate times will be dependent upon the editor.

You may wish to attend a particular session at the conference and be given a time that conflicts with this session. Please be aware that this may necessitate leaving a session for the 15 minute assigned critique time. We will do our best to avoid this; however, critiquing sessions are set up according to the time needs of the individual editors.
